Viktar Kryval: Lukashenka ashamed to look into eyes of entrepreneurs

“Entrepreneurs have to resort to political means to solve economic problems,” Viktar Kryval, activist of the campaign “For Free Development of Business,” said commenting statements of Alyaksandr Lukashenka.
When visiting the city hall, the head of state said there “hardly were entrepreneurs” at the rally of entrepreneurs, held in Minsk on 21 January. “There was one tenth of them, they said they had been crossed up and went away,” BelaPAN quotes A. Lukashenka.
But activist of the entrepreneurs’ movement says “people, who came to the square, have another opinion.” “If Lukashenka had come to the square, he would have assured that there were entrepreneurs there. And they were satisfied with the rally. Because it was held in spite of the fact that almost all leaders and activists had been arrested,” V. Kryval noted.
He states entrepreneurs participated in all political actions having been held in the country, because ”they are the last stronghold of freedom in Belarus.” V. Kryval thinks it’s difficult to influence the entrepreneurs, because “they don’t sign contracts,” and it has caused “persecution of entrepreneurs.”
