OSCE to teach Paulichenka and Karaeu European behaviour standards

Experts from the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) will hold a seminar in the education center of the Ministry of Internal Affaires of Belarus on developing professional behaviour of the officers.

Acting head of the MIA department of information and public relations Aleh Slepchanka said it to Interfax-Zapad.

“On 4–8 August, OSCE experts will tell about experience of European police institution officers in the education center of the Ministry of Internal Affaires. Issues of using force and arms, cooperation between society and law enforcement system as well as prevention of domestic violence will be touched at the seminar,” A. Slepchanka said.

This seminar is a part of the programme on developing of behaviour of Belarusian law enforcement bodies officers, carried out by OSCE office in Minsk with participating of OSCE expert for police reforms Arry Blude, A. Slepchanka said.

Head of the education center Alyaksandr Zyl, deputy head of the OSCE office in Minsk Maria Lagus and OSCE expert Arry Blude will take part in the opening ceremony, A. Slepchanka said.

Note of www.charter97.org: It should be reminded that the Minsk riot militia (headed by Yury Karaeu) and interior troops special forces (headed by Zmitser Paulichenka, suspect of kidnapping and murders of Belarusian opposition leaders by the international society) are known in the world with brutal crackdowns of peaceful oppositional demonstrations and beating up of demonstrators.
