Members of the organising committee for creation of the “Belarusian Christian Democracy” (BCD) will withdraw their candidates from the pre-election campaign before September 23.
At the consultations of the BCD organising committee a decision has been taken to withdraw candidates in case four main conditions won’t be fulfilled (admission of Christian Democratic to election commissions, complete cessation of repressions, early voting cancel, free access to mass media).
As we have informed, 5 candidates of the BCD have been registered. They are Dzyanis Sadouski (constituency No. 103, Masyukoushchyna, Minsk), Vital Rymasheuski (constituency No. 105, Staravilenski, Minsk), Viktar Yanchurevich (No.108, Kalinousky, Minsk), Tatsyana Sevyarynets (Vitsebsk, Horkauskaya No. 17), and Kastus Zhukouski (Buda-Kashalyova No. 38, Homel region). Three more members of the organising committee for creation of the BCD, Tastyana Shambalava, Dzmitry Kukhlej and Alyaksei Aleksandrovich, haven’t been registered as candidates for deputies, and have filed appealed to the CEC.
“We shall carry out an active campaign in districts and explain people: do not go to vote, you will be deceived, but take part in our campaigns, look at our BCD leaders in your districts,” the co-chairman of the organising committee for creation of the BCD Paval Sevyarynets said.
