“I will come to the square on September 28. I am always with the youth, with people. I can’t live in a different way. A lot of violations have been recorded during this “election campaign”. It is custumal in the world: if people think the “election” results have been rigged, they take to streets,” former political prisoner Alyaksandr Kazulin told in an interview to the Charter’97 press center.
“If the authorities try to impede, they will again confirm that the “election” haven’t been honest. We should demand organising of new election. Everyone has the right for free expression and should act according to his or her conscience. If one has conscience and wants changes for the better in Belarus, he or she must struggle. When people hide in their houses, changes are hardly possible. People should understand their voice decide the destiny of the country. If this voice can’t be heard at a polling station, it must be heard at the Square,” Alyaksandr Kazulin said.
We remind that the opposition leaders have urged the Belarusians to come to October Square of Minsk at 8.00 pm September 28 to demand holding of new really free and democratic election in Belarus.
