Belarus and Russia to buy arms at one price

Belarusian and Russian authorities plan to deliver weapons at prices equal to national military forces.
“Every side makes deliveries o military equipment to the other side with the same characteristics and configuration as for own military forces, other forces, military groupings, law-enforcing agencies and special services”, the plan of intergovernmental; agreement on development of military and technical cooperation approved by the government of Russia as quoted by Interfax.
In the document placed to the database of Russian government regulations it is also noted that “prices for these products are formed in line with the legislation of the country delivering military goods which regulate price formation for products for military purposes when executing orders of national military forces”.
Besides, the draft agreement envisages no customs dues for military goods.
The draft agreement also stipulates that each side is to provide protection of rights and results of intellectual work, used and received in military technical cooperation.
The agreement between Russia and Belarus on development of military and technical cooperation is planned to be signed for 5 years with automatic extension for the next five-year periods in case none of the sides would inform the other about its intention to terminate the agreement.
