Charter’97 website faces second cyber attack over past week

The website charter97.org met a DDoS attack at 1:30 p.m. today. The technical support service managed to minimize the consequences; the website is available for users, but the attack is still going on.

We remind that the previous DDoS attack on charter97.org took place on December 15. It was launched just after text of the Draft Law on Measures for Revising Use of the National Segment of the World Wide Web had appeared on the Internet. The scandalous document says about blocking uncomfortable for the authorities websites, identification of Internet users, bringing those who spread information to responsibility, state registration of the Internet media.
