“Young Front” activist Yauhen Skrabets was detained on June 4 near the entrance to his house by officers of militia and military enlistment office.
The “Young Front” activist from Brest said four men, two in military uniform and two in mufti, were watching him, Radio Svaboda reports.
Yauhen Skrabets was forced into a car and taken to the regional military hospital for him to undergo medical examination for the military enlistment office.
It should be noticed that Yauhen Skrabets has a medical exemption from military service.
Some more “Young Front” activists received telephone calls from a military enlistment office. They say the so called political draft gains momentum. More public activists may be drafted into the army and isolated from active public life.
