Belarusian authorities about jailed political prisoners (Photo)

A rally of solidarity with Mikalai Autukhovich, Yury Lyavonau, Uladzimir Asipenka and Artsyom Dubski took place on Wednesday in the capital of Belarus.
Activists of the civil campaign “European Belarus” held a rally near the metro station “Kamennaya Horka”, the website f-fight.org informs.
Young activists were holding a streamer “Freedom to political prisoners!” The young activists called upon Belarusian authorities to stop crackdown on opposition activists. The rally lasted for 15 minutes, and after that the young people disbanded.
Vaukavysk entrepreneurs Mikalai Autukhovich, Yury Lyavonau and Uladzimir Asipenka are jailed in the remand prison number 1 of the Interior Affairs directorate of Minsk city executive committee for more than 5 months. Human rights activists have recognized them as prisoners of conscience, paying attention to the fact that they stood trial before and were recognized prisoners of conscience by the world community.
Artsyom Dubski, a Young Front activists, was sentenced to a year of imprisonment in the colony for violation of the rules of serving the sentence under the Case of Fourteen.
The Case of 14 is a criminal case under article 342 of the Criminal Code of Belarus, instigated against participants of a peaceful rally of entrepreneurs held in Minsk on January 10, 2008.
14 youth activists were sentenced to different terms of restriction of liberty and imprisonment for participation in this rally. Amnesty International recognized participants of the Process of 14 Prisoners of Conscience in 2009.
