Zmitser Khvedaruk was told during the morning doctor’s round his state of health was unsatisfactory and he should have stayed in hospital for one more week.

15 minutes after the doctor’s round, KGB officers entered the ward and ordered the youth activist to gather his things. They said they would take Khvedaruk to the barracks, Radio Svaboda reports.

Zmitser Khvedaruk, who serves in Zhodzina, has been in the Minsk military hospital since September 7.

We remind that on January 28, 2009, Zmitser Khvedaruk was forcefully guarded to the military enlistment office and then to a medical examination. The medical board found him fit for military service, though he had a surgery on a vein a month ago and a number of chronic diseases. The youth activist didn’t have a medical record and an identification card during the examination. Zmitser Khvedaruk was a student of Theological College that gave him the right for deferment.

Handcuffed, the “Young Front” activist was guarded to army barracks in Zhodzina. It was revealed that he has diseases incompatible with military service, but the youth activist was sent to the barracks again.
