Artists and opposition activist Ales Pushkin, sentenced by the Krupki district court to 13 days of arrest, is on hunger strike.
Euroradio learnt this from Yanina Pushkina, wife of the arrested artist. The woman says she hasn’t been allowed to visit her husband yet.
“I didn’t see him. I made an appointment with the chief, but he was absent on that day. So, I wasn’t able to visit my husband. He doesn’t eat, but he seems to speak,” Yanina Pushkina said.
We remind that artist Ales Pushkin was sentenced to 13 days of arrest on December 13. He was charged with hooliganism. There was information that Pushkin refused to eat and speak protesting against unlawful, in his view, court ruling.
