Open letter from blogger Lipkovich to Belarusian ruler

A blogger calls on Lukashenka to organize a medical examination for Charhinets, who has declared war against Rammstein.
Well-known Belarusian blogger Yauhen Lipkovich who announced his intention to run in the local elections and registered his initiative group, addressed Alyaksandr Lukashenka. Lipkovich’s letter is an answer to remarks of Mikalai Charhinets, the head of the Public Council on Morality, regarding Rammstein’s gig in Minsk.
“Dear Mr Alyaksandr,
Let me start my letter by wishing health and well-being to you and your big family. My wife, who also wishes you health and happiness, has persuaded me into writing this letter.
Being a well-educated woman and amateur of art, she watched performance by writer Mikalai Charhinets, who was advertising Rammstein’s concert as best as he could. Inspired by his speech, my wife and I decided to go to a concert as I heard his slanderous remark that the gig was able to destroy our state.
We can’t understand how the German band can oppose the ain element of our state system, the powerful military grouping of 120,000 people, who guard the western border of the union state day and night.
Does writer Charhinets think four musicians are able to defeat our soldiers?
Or does writer Charhinets have doubts that the many-thousand youth vanguard, the Belarusian Republican Youth Union, can give a fitting rebuff to the foreign musical group?
Or does writer Charhinets think the state spends money in vain financing our army, our BRSM and other institutions lying in foundation of our state?
My wife and I can’t keep silence. My wife didn’t sleep at night and asked me to write a letter in the morning.
Dear Mr Alyaksandr,
The actions by Mikalai Charhinets have disgraced honour and dignity of our country, slandered our governmental bodies. We think you should point out inadmissibility of such statements, which may implant doubt of strength and power of our state system.
My wife and I think you should offer Charhinets medical examination in a special medical institution of the Republic of Belarus and propose him to resign from the post of head of the Union of Writers of the Republic of Belarus.
Yauhen Lipkovich, a candidate for candidates from people of the Valhahradski constituency #54.”
We remind that the Belarusian Council on Morality headed by Mikalai Charhinets, demanded the concert organizers to hold preview showing of the band’s performance. The council thinks the musicians can “destroy the Belarusian state system”.
Mikalai Charhinets said Rammstein glorifies fascism and immorality. He stated that terrorists who took hostage schoolchildren in Beslan a few years ago, confessed after they were arrested that Rammstein music inspired them for crimes.
“We should look into this matter. If we cannot ban the show, we should watch this concert the day before, we should demand the guests not to carry out this emotional abuse of our youth’s psyche,” the official said.
