Search at apartment of Maryna Koktysh

In spite of late evening the police are searching apartment of Belarusian independent journalist Maryna Koktysh. Computer confiscated.

Two police officers came to editorial office of newspaper “Narodnaya Volya” and ordered the journalist to follow to her apartment for the search.

According to site of “Narodnaya Volya” Maryna Koktysh was taken to her flat on police car, and her personal computer was confiscated on order of Gomel region police department V. Palishchuk.

A wave of searches came over Minsk today. Offices of Charter’97, “Narodnaya Volya”, apartments of journalists Iryna Khalip, Maryna Koktysh and politician Andrei Sannikov were searched.
