Participants of a picket in front of Belarus’ Embassy in Bishkek demand to bring deposed president Bakiyev to responsibility.
A picket in front of the Embassy of Belarus in Kyrgyzstan was held on Thursday, Interfax reports.
The picketers demanded to punish former president of Kyrgyzstan Kurmanbek Bakiyev, who stays in Minsk and doesn’t recognize he was ousted.
The participants of the action didn’t shout anything, but held posters with demands to bring the former president to responsibility.
The picketers obeyed the police’s call to disperse after 15 minutes.
We remind that Belarus’ Embassy in Bishkek was also picketed on April 19, when the mass media spread information about Bakiyev’s flight to Minsk. The participants of the picket called on Alyaksandr Lukashenka not to receive Kyrgyzstan’s ex-president in Belarus. How recent event show, official Minsk didn’t listen to their appeals.
