Kyrgyzstan Embassy has held a press-conference in connection with Bakiyev's activisation in Minsk.
Kyrgyzstan Embassy in Minsk would demand extradition of the former president of the country Kurmanbek Bakiyev, and has put him on the wanted list, stated the head of the diplomatic mission Ishenkul Boldzhurova on Friday at a press-conference in the capital of Belarus, "Interfax" reports.
"As soon as necessary legal grounds would appear, and they are a detected criminal case and putting him on the wanted list, then the embassy would continue its work through the diplomatic channels," Ishenkul Boldzhurova said.
"The provisional government of Kyrgyzstan and the embassy are working within the legal framework," the diplomat underlined.
According to her knowledge, at the moment criminal actions against 23 supporters of the younger son of the former Kyrgyz president Maxim Bakiyev have been initiated, while there is no criminal case opened against Kurmanbek Bakiyev himself.
She refused to comment on the step of Alyaksandr Lukashenka, who had invited K. Bakiyev to arrive to Minsk.
"I cannot comment on the actions of the Belarusian regime," Ishenkul Boldzhurova stated. "I have heard only what you have heard, when Belarusian president made an address to the Belarusian nation and the parliament, -- it was his personal decision".
