Arrests for delivering “Narodnaya Volya”

Activist Andrei Kasheuski from Zhodzina was detained on April 5 at about 7 p.m. on the Asipovichy–Minsk train.
BelaPAN learnt this from the press service of the organizing committee on creating the party Belarusian Christian Democracy.
Kasheuski was delivering the newspaper “Narodnaya Volya” on the train. “Two men tried to provoke a fight with him. After the train arrived in Minsk, passengers called the militia and the three men were taken to a militia station. Militiamen checked their IDs and belongings,” the statement says.
Kasheuski didn’t answer his cell phone at 10 p.m.
A month ago, on March 3, the activist, who was going to run for the Zhodzina city council and the Minsk region council, was detained in the Minsk metro and sentenced to 15 says of arrest.
