Gazprom turns off gas tap to Belarus by 60%

Gazprom has extended gas supply cuts to Belarus for debt by another 30% thus reaching the level of 60% of the planned volume, gas giant’s chief Alexey Miller said Wednesday.
“We reduce gas supplies by 60% at 10 am,” Miller said at a meeting of the emergency team on the situation with gas deliveries to Belarus.
Russia continues to transit gas through Belarus at full volumes, European consumers have no problems with gas supplies, Gazprom’s chief Alexey Miller said Wednesday.
“Transit of gas through Belarus flows at full volume, the consumers of Russian gas do not have any problems with the supplies,” he said at the meeting of the emergency team on gas deliveries to Belarus.
Gazprom started reducing gas supplies on Monday. President of Belarus said on Tuesday he ordered to halt transit of Russian gas to Europe.
