First arrests for collection of signatures aaginst decree on Internet

On June 2 activists of "Young Belarus" Ivan Zajtsau, Zmitser Skachkou and Kiryl Kavalyou were detained in Homel.

They collected signatures under a demand to cancel of the presidential decree # 60 "On Measures to Improve the Use of the National Segment of the Internet". Zmitsr Skachkou made pictures of the signatures collection. Zmitser Skachkou made pictures of the process.

At about 7.30 p.m. policemen came near them, seized sheets of paper with signatures, seized the photo camera, deleted all pictures including private ones, and took the activists to the police department in Kirov Street, 122 in Homel, BelaPAN writes with a reference to the press-service of the movement.

After an hour and a half all the activists were released without a report being drawn up.
