Zhirinovsky: Lukashenka will lose 2011 elections

The vice speaker of the Russian Duma made this statement on Russia 24 TV channel on July 16.

Vladimir Zhirinovsky commented on appearing Mikheil Saakashvili on the Belarusian television, Radio Svaboda reports.

According to him, showing a long interview with Georgian president Mikheil Saakashvili on the Belarusian TV is Alyaksandr Lukashenka’s revenge for the NTV film “Godbatka”. Zhirinovsky thinks the NTV film about Lukashenka told the truth. He also said the Belarusian ruler was ungrateful for Russia’s years-long support.

The Vice Speaker of the Russian State Duma said in this connection that Alyaksandr Lukashenka was agonizing, he would lose the 2011 elections and would have to quit the political stage.
