Belarusians pinned hopes to be released from dictatorship on every presidential election.
A youth leader Yauhen Afnagel believes that right now changes are most realistic, and that’s because there is a leader who is not afraid of struggle and won’t give up.
“I support Andrei Sannikov, firstly because he is a patriot of Belarus and has proved that by his government service and activities in the opposition. He has always been consistent defending interests of our country: both in international negotiations, and organizing street rallies. We need a president exactly like that now, when the incompetent policy has brought the country to international isolation. Sannikov will be able to return respect to Belarus and raise the profile of Belarus, bring it to the European Union.
Another important trait of Sannikov is his adherence to principles and his moral qualities. He quitted the government himself, he has always fighting for release of political prisoners, for democratic changes and was not trying to flirt with the regime.
Belarusians pinned hopes to be released from dictatorship on every presidential election. However, right now the changes are most real, and among other things because we have a leader who is not afraid of struggle, who won’t give up. It is clear that we will have to defend our choice in the streets, and I know that Andrei Sannikov won’t betray those people who would follow him, won’t be scared and together with us will fight to full victory,” Yauhen Afnagel stated.
