“European Belarus” activists arrested for solidarity picket in Navapolatsk (Photo)

Viktar Kalesnik and Alyaksandr Kalintsau were arrested for holding a picket of solidarity in Navapolatsk.

Activists of “European Belarus” unfurled a streamer “Freedom to political prisoners! We are more numerous than you think!”

The rally was held in front of the executive committee of Navapolatsk. The police arrived there in a few minutes after the stearmer was unfurled, and the activists were arrested. The trial is planned for January 20 at 9.30 a.m., charter97.org was told by Viktar and Alyaksandr’s friends.
