UCP activist taken to hospital after Freedom Day

Some participants of the Freedom Day rally, who met with riot police, had to go to hospital for medical care after the dispersal of protesters.
An activist of Young Democrats, Volha Zhuraulyova, was beaten by police officers during dispersal of he demonstration on March 25, ucpb.org informs.
According to her, she “went to a pedestrian subway trying to escape arrest when the riot police started to mop up Yakub Kolas square. I was attacked by riot policemen. They didn’t show their documents, but began to twist her arms and tried to pull her in an unknown direction. They were swearing all the time.”
The girl managed to escape, but she damaged her right arm, so she had to go to hospital.
