Protests actions held in dozens of towns

Silent protest actions were held on June 29 not only in Belarusian regional centres, but also in less populated towns.
In Kobryn, about 50 participants of the silent protest action marched round the central square with their hands behind their back showing their solidarity with political prisoners.
About 100 peopel gathered for silent protests in Zhodzina (four persons were detained), 15 and 6 persons came in Dzerzhynsk and Miory respectively.
In Baranavichy, over 100 people took part in silent protests on June 29.
Smaller actions were held in other towns: Smarhon (about 30 people), Byarozauka (the Lida district, about 10 people), Chavusy (four people), Stolin (7 people).
Around 70 people came to the central square in Salihorsk. Ivan and Uladzimir Shyla were detained by people in mufti.
The action in Hlubokaye gathered 50 people. Scores of people came to protest in Nyasvizh, Hantsavichy, Pastavy, Maryina Horka, Smalyavichy, Chachersk, and Lahoisk.
70 people protested in Svetlahorsk.
About 50 people attended the “Revolution through social network” action in Maladechna.
Only 13 people left on the square after it began to rain. They were detained and later released after their persona data were written down.
More than 20 people took part in silent protests in Orsha. One of the protesters, an activist of the organizing committee to create Belarusian Christian Democracy party Yauheny Anishchanka, was detained.
A silent protest action near the district department of interior affairs in Vaukavysk lasted for 25 minutes. Protesters were clapping their hands and handing out blank sheets of paper. The action ended after a warning about possible detentions.
