Police officers detained activists Andrei Tsyanyuta and Vasily Takarenka in Homel.
They were collecting signatures for holding the People’s Assembly on October 8, Radio Svaboda reports.
Policemen ordered the activists to get into a car and took them to the Chyhunachny district police department. They do not answer their cell phones. It is unknown what they are accused of.
Police officers of the Chyhunachny district police department already detained activists, who collected signatures, in early September. The activists were questioned and set free, but policemen made copies of sheets with signatures for carrying out the People’s Assembly.
