Raman Pratasevich was questioned by KGB and threatened with applying pressure on his parents and relatives.

Provocations against the activists were continued by pro-governmental news websites, Radio Racyja reports.

Natnews, the website that is suspected to be linked to Minsk police spokesman Alyaksandr Lastouski, posted an offensive article, in which the guy was called a former active supporter of Lukashenka.

Raman Pratesevich thinks both cases are part of a discreditation campaign against him.

“Two men entered the flat and told me I was arrested to be sent to a boarding school. They took me out and I get into a car. I heard many threats during in the car. I was taken to the KGB for a ‘preventive conversation’. They threatened to make an offensive report about me and show it on Belarusian TV,” the activist said.

According to Pratasevich, KGB officers strongly advised him to stop his activity and think about his parents. The Young Front member regards these words as a threat.

We remind that six Young Front member have said about pressure and attempts to recruit them by KGB officers. According to the activists, investigators asked them about Young Front activity when they were in custody in a detention centre in Akrestsin Street.
