Anarchists detained during a concert fined and sentenced to short prison terms

In Minsk, trials over the anarchists detained on 24 March during a concert held in the House of Culture of the Minsk Tractor Factory have begun.
The young people are accused of minor hooliganism, in accordance with article 17.1 of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Belarus, the human rights center Viasna reports.
Tsantralny district court passed the following verdicts: a fine of 5 basic amounts for Mikita Vlasenka (judge Yasinovich), Yaugen Rubashka (judge Yakunchykhin) and Uladzimir Zmitrachkou (judge Yakunchykhin); 2 days of arrest for Paval Grynevich (judge Mayseychyk), Paval Bialanau (judge Yakunchykhin), Andrei Stsiapanau (judge Shabunia), Aliaksandar Piedash (judje Khadanovich), Zmitser Kharlanchuk (judge Svistunova); a 3 basic amount fine for Aliaksandar Yarashevich (judge Svistunou); a fine of 4 basic amounts for Yaugen Vlasenka (judge Vaytsekhovich) and Paval Dziarkach (judge Tsierashkou); a two basic amount fine for Zmitser Gurau (judge Tkachova).
Igar Trukhanovich who was beaten up during the detention has a light traumatic brain injury. He is still in the hospital.
During the concert in the Tractor Factory House of Culture, more than 100 people were detained and taken to the Partyzanski and Tsantralny district police stations. Most of the detained were released without issuing a detention protocol. Rest of them are kept in the Akrestsina prison until the trial.
The charity concert was organized by the international movement “Food instead of Bombs”.
