Kozik initiates “targeting” of European politicians

The chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions (FTU) offers to publish names of politicians who voted in favour of expanding the sanctions against the Belarusian regime.
Such a proposal has been made by Leanid Kozik in his address to the Foreign Affairs Ministry of Belarus, BelTA has told to the press-service of the Federation of Trade Unions (FTU).
“I find it necessary to publish the list of those European politicians who voted in favour of expanding sanctions against our country. Let their names figure in history. And some day the time will come, when their descendants will feel ashamed for such actions,” Leanid Kozik said.
“It is not clear what the European ministers want to achieve by such actions. They can hardly count on support of these sanctions on the part of Belarusians,” Leanid Kozik is convinced. “Our people see that the country is gradually overcoming the crisis, and that salaries are growing bit by bit, additional social protection is introduced. The Belarusian government takes all necessary and necessary measures in order to improve Belarusians’ standards of living.”
“The Federation of the Trade Unions has stated on many occasions that such absurd and short-sighted actions the EU would not be able to get anywhere. Moreover, those who adopt such decisions, place restrictions on businessmen and common citizens of European countries in receiving goods and services from our country,” he said.
Leaned Kozik has also noted that European officials overestimate their significance, intimidating by the so-called “black lists” of Belarusian state servants, public figures, businessmen, banned from entering the EU. “The whole world is open for Belarusians, both for business contacts and travelling. I was put on the first such list personally, and I can tell you sincerely that it is becoming rather a bragging right than a reason for any rueful feelings,” he said.
