Viktar Ivashkevich, a member of the organizing committee of the rally on March 25, was summoned to a prosecutor's office on March 27.

The information was confirmed by Henadz Fyadynich, one of the leaders of independent trade unions, Radio Svaboda reports.

“Viktar has been summoned to the republican prosecutor's office. He said a possible reason was the sanctions issue. At the rally, he called on foreign consumers to stop buying Belarusian fuel and supporting the antidemocratic regime,” Henadz Fyadynich said.

The rally on Freedom Day in Minsk attracted more than 3,000 people, observers report. Police says the number of demonstrators was about 200 people. Viktar Ivashkevich, a former deputy head of BPF party, addressed the mob and called to boycott the forthcoming parliamentary elections.
