The Prosecutor General of Kyrgyzstan: Lukashenko will not give Bakiev

According her, it would be a problem to bring Kurmanbek Bakiyev back in Kyrgyzstan until progressive forces replace Alexander Lukashenko.
“We won’t succeed in extradition of the ex-President of Kyrgyzstan until Lukashenko holds his office,” the Prosecutor General Aida Salyanova said at the session of the Parliament.
According her, it would be a problem to bring Kurmanbek Bakiyev back in Kyrgyzstan until progressive forces replace Alexander Lukashenko. “This is one of objective causes why we cannot bring him back home,” she added.
As the top prosecutor noticed, they are doing work on extradition of fugitives fled the country within framework of tools they have. “To do this we make phone talks with colleagues from other countries, hold meetings and try to address these issues,” Aida Salaynova said.
Recall, no one of former leaders of the country and other officials has been extradited to Kyrgyzstan after April 2010 despite assurances of members of the top brass.
