Mikalai Dzyadzok has been placed in an internal prison for six months.
Mikalai's father Alyaksandr Dzyadok told Narodnaya Volya newspaper his son's “offence” was that he said he didn't like the prison authorities made inmates work six days a week, not five.
We remind Mikalai Dzydok has been under pressure in the Shklou penal colony for several months. The man was thrown into a punishment cell several times. He refused to apply for a pardon that became a reason for applying strong pressure on him. Mikalai Dzyadok's mother visited the Corrections Department head recently and he said he had had a phone conversation with the Shklou penal colony chief, who reported well on Dzyadok. It turned out now that a decision to throw Mikalai into the internal prison and deprive him of a long-term meeting with his mother scheduled for June was taken before the phone conversation.
