The Russian authorities try to hinder holding the March of Millions in Moscow.

Boris Nemtsov, a co-chairman of PARNAS, told Ekho Mosckvy radio he was in the Moscow region, but would go to Moscow to take part in the March of Millions.

He called raids on the homes of opposition activists “an act of intimidation, total outrage and arbitrary behavior”, but express his confidence it would rather attract people to the rally than scare them.

“Putin repeats what Lukashenka began to do many years ago,” Nemtsov stressed. In his opinion, orders to search homes was give personally by the president.

We remind the Investigative Committee searched the homes of several opposition activists ahead of the sanctioned March of Millions. Sergei Udaltsov, Ilya Yashin, Ksenia Sobchak and Alyaksei Navalny were among those targeted. Police say the searches were conducted as part of the investigation of the disorders during the May 6 rally.

The opposition members were summoned to the Investigative Committee for 11:00 am Tuesday. Participants of the March of Millions are expected to gather at noon.
