KGB wants on holidays with you

The Belarusian KGB proposes new strange initiatives to demonstrate its activity.
As Belorusski Partizan has learned, the KGB obliged special departments and personnel departments at all state institutions, ministries and governmental bodies to monitor foreign holiday trips of their mid and high level managers.
Those wanting to have holidays in Turkey, Egypt and even Ukraine must apply to a boss asking permission to travel abroad. Those who already had a vacation abroad submit a written explanation informing they were not recruited by anybody, did not disclose secret information about Belarus and did not discredit the country.
KGB officers are assigned to state institutions to control how this measure is being implemented.
The Soviet KGB used to do something like that, but it did not save the Soviet Union from collapse. Mass inflow of border guards to the Belarusian KGB affected the general professional level of the organization.
Officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, KGB and other security services were reported in spring to have been banned to have holidays. They are allowed to go abroad only on special permission. Now, additional problems were created for personnel of state offices, schools, district executive committees and ministries.
