Andrew Molchan has been beaten and arrested again

The activist of “Evropejskaja Belarus” has been detained this night.
Andrew Molchan has been detained by the officers of the patrol service on the Ostroshitsky Street in Minsk district Uruchcha. As activist’s mother reported, militia stopped him on the street and found stickers. During the arrest the beat him and made protocols in the Pervomaisky police department on articles 21.14 (Violation of the rules of improvement and maintenance of human settlements) and 17.1 (Disorderly conduct) of Belarus Criminal Code.
Now Molchan is being escorted to the Center for isolation of offenders on Akrestin Street, the activist will stand trial on Monday in Pervomaisky district on Ostroshitsky str., 7.
As website charter97.org previously reported, last week the court of Pervomaisky district fined Andrew Molchan on 8 basis units.
On May 19 Andrew Molchan has deployed national flag in a busy place near the supermarket Pervomaisky as a sign of solidarity with political prisoner Sergei Kovalenko. After some time police officers ran up to him, snatched the flag, threw him to the ground, and started beating him. After that he was thrown in the car where they continued to beat him until he lost consciousness. Molchan woke up in the police office of the Pervomaisky district. Police officers had to call “an ambulance” and take him to the hospital.
