An activist of CCP BPF Sergey Kovalenko has sent a letter from the Mogilev colony, in which he told last news about himself.
Including that he was deprived of work, reports”Radio Svaboda”.
Elena Kovalenko, the wife of the prisoner:
He was forbidden to work. He wove a network. But the administration decided that, if he starved to protest, he can be suicidal and can’t work on production”.
The political prisoner also has sent the list of medicines, which he asks to deliver. The medicines are needed to treat the consequences of enduring starvations. But in general, wrote he, he feels better, he has almost restored his full weight.
Sergei thinks that the colony prisoner, because of conflict with whom he got into a punishment cell, is a provocateur, recruited by the colony administration. “Now he looks away each time he meets me”, - reported Sergei Kovalenko, who had to serve 10 days in the punishment cell because of, supposedly, a quarrel with a neighbor on the party. Sergei Kovalenko is sentenced for two years and a month in prison for violation of the order of the labor colony after putting up the white-red-white flag on a Christmas tree in Vitebsk.
