About fifty British teddy bears came to the embassy of Belarus in London.

To the rally, organized on July 30 by the International Civil Campaign Free Belarus Now, joined representatives of the British PEN Club and the fighters against the construction of nuclear power plants. Human rights activists came to the embassy of Belarus in London with teddy bears that have already become a symbol of the bold rally of Swedish human rights defenders, who managed to fly over the territory of Belarus, scatter the soft toys over Minsk in support of freedom of speech in Belarus.

During the action the Ambassador of Belarus Aliaxandar Mikhnevich quickly ran out of the embassy, but not to talk to the demonstrators. He quickly jumped into the car and drove away.

Traditionally, a representative of London Police arrived to the protesters, which was amused by the reaction of the Belarusian ambassador on the toys. He wished good luck to all protesters.

This time, the protesters did not compose a petition. They just threw all the slogans and demands into the mailbox of the embassy.

Recall that for the second week teddy bears continue to appear in front of the Belarusian Embassy, as a symbol of the rally of the Swedish human rights activists in support of freedom of speech in Belarus and as a sign of support for people arrested in this case. Every day the number of teddy bears increases by one.
