Statkevich waits for his queue to punishment cell

Inmates have to stand in a queue to be placed in a punishment cell in Mahilou prison No. 4.

Mikalai Statkeivch said it to his wife during a phone conversation, statkevich.org reports.

Mikalai Statkeivch, a presidential candidate in the 2010 elecitons, called his wife Maryna Adamovicc. “It is the fourth phone call for the last six months,” the woman says.

“Mikalai says he waits for a punishment cell to be vacated. He was given 10 days in a punishment cell. He asked me not to worry and said there was nothing new for him in prison. He is cheerful and confident as usual. He recalled an appeal again and apologized to me,” Maryna says.
