Mikalai Autukhovich receives over 200 birthday congratulations

A political prisoner wrote this in a letter.

Mikalai received more than 200 letters and postcards from Belarus and foreign countries from the US to Australia on his birthday, Viasna human rights centre reports.

He tries to reply to all letters and thank for attention and warm words to him.

He received New Year's greetings with a week's delay.

The political prisoner has no complaints about his health and confinement conditions. He writes the conditions are “like in any prison”. He doesn't expect much comfort and says he withstands all ordeals.
