Vital Rymasheuski: Lukashenka will have to release political prisoners

The fact that the dictator mentioned the word “sanctions” means they are effective in some way or another.
Vital Rymasheuski, a co-head of the organising committee to found the Belarusian Christian party (BCD), talked to charter97.org about a remark by the Belarusian ruler about a counterproductive character of sanctions.
“If sanctions were not effective, Lukashenka would not talk about them. The situation resembles a reaction of the Belarusian ruler and officials on the word 'boycott' during the latest election campaign. Whatever experts and analysts say, it's obvious that such things annoy and disturb him. It means they are effective,” the politician thinks.
He stressed the remarks that making conditions has no sense are just mere words.
“The minimum Lukashenka will have to do is to release and rehabilitate the political prisoners to prevent the European Union from changing at least its current stance. The dictator knows it well. His remarks only prove that the painful issue annoys him and the Belarusian ruler cannot do anything with it,” Vitaly Rymasheuski believes.
It should be reminded that Aliaksandr Lukashenka addresses the nation and the “parliament” today.
