State prosecutor asked for 2-year imprisonment for Hajdukou

At the court’s proceedings on the case of Andrej Hajdukou, which took place on 27 June, the state prosecutor asked to punish him with 2 years of imprisonment.
Prosecutor General Aliaksandr Kaniuk informed journalists about that. He did not specify, for what article the accusation had been changed for. The verdict will be announced at an open session on 1 July.
Andrej Hajdukou was detained by KGB officers on 8 November 2012 in Viciebsk, allegedly when he was putting information of interest for foreign special services in a hiding place. Andrej Hajdukou was accused of collecting information for foreign special services, but then the accusation was changed.
The case was considered in a secretive regime.
