Mikola Statkevich: We’ll Make Our Belarus Free and Respected

The opposition leader has addressed the Belarusians shortly before the New Year – 2016.

Mikola Statkevich passed along his message to fellow countrymen through charter97.org website.

We offer the full text of the address:

“Dear friends!

I wish you a happy New Year! Let it bring us a better, dignified life, which is deserved by every person of honour! Let the people, who are necessary for you, always be beside you, let happiness, love, tenderness and mercy always reign under your roofs! Let our country become a normal, free and prosperous, for us to live in it comfortably and enjoyably! Once again I wish you a good health, as a normal life is impossible without it.

And at conclusion I wish you to remain worthy people always, in every situation, as constant humiliation makes impossible all the things I wished you before. When a great number of people in our country start to behave worthily, we are sure to make our Belarus a free and respectworthy country.
