Sole traders on verge of rebellion (Video)

The situation in regions is worse than in the capital.

Sole traders with many years of work experience have to close their business, Anatol Shumchanka, the leader of Perspective association, said in an interview with Belsat.

For example, a woman from Maladzechna who started her business with a retail chain 20 years ago left only one shop. “The authorities changed the rules that traders have been using for 20 years and gave them 6 months to get used to the new rules. They broke tens of thousands of lives,” Shumchanka said in the programme “Talk with Kalinkina”.

Perspective plans to hold a forum on February 16 with the participation of representatives of all Belarusian regions to discuss current problems of sole traders. Officials of appropriate government bodies are welcomed to visit the event.
