Makei: Lukashenka to decide the issue on participation in the Eastern Partnership Summit

Foreign Ministers of Belarus and Latvia met in Minsk.
Edgars Rinkēvičs visits Belarus in the framework of working visit. On February 19 the Ministers discussed economic, political, cultural interaction between the EU and Belarus, as well as participation of Belarus in the summit of Eastern Partnership, to be held in Riga on May 21-22. The Latvian side previously expressed the wish for Belarus to be presented at the highest level. Earlier, Aliaksandr Lukashenka has never represented Belarus at summits in Prague, Warsaw and Vilnius.
Euroradio asked Uladzimir Makei who would present Belarus at the summit in Riga.
"The issue is being resolved. The head of State will decide who will go to the summit", the Minister said.
