People welcomed him with a white-red-white flag.
Clinton spent over six hours in Minsk.
The head of the United States met with the chairman of the Supreme Council Stanislau Shushkevich, laid a wreath on the Victory Square, greeted the Minsk citizens and talked with them on the avenue, met with the youth in the Academy of Sciences.
Bill Clinton also visited Kurapaty - a place of mass shootings during the Stalinist terror, where he honored the memory of the dead.
