Małgorzata Gosiewska Is Solidary With Charter-97

The deputy chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Sejm of Poland is concerned about the increasing pressure on freedom of speech in Belarus.

Charter97.org editor-in-chief Natallia Radzina and Charter-97 foundation director Yulia Bandarenka met with the leadership of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Polish Sejm today.

The situation with the blocking of the Charter97.org website in Belarus was discussed during the meeting with Deputy Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Polish Sejm, Law and Justice party deputy Małgorzata Gosiewska.

Małgorzata Gosiewska expressed concern over increasing pressure on freedom of speech in Belarus, saying that she would not ignore the blocking of the "well-known and respected portal" in Belarus. The Polish Sejm deputy noted that she would do everything possible for the Belarusian authorities to cancel the unlawful decision and stop the pressure on Charter97.org.

Earlier, Natallia Radzina also held meetings at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland.
