Why Doesn’t Nasha Niva Rate Charter97.org As Belarusian Site?
- 5.04.2018, 15:19
If only because even after the blocking of Charter-97, its viewership is twice as large.
According to Google Analitycs, in March of 2018, the number of views on Charter97.org amounted to 19 million 642 thousand 560.
In December 2017, the last month of the site’s proper functioning, before the blocking, the number of views was 47 million 439 thousand 992.
Naturally, the blocking has significantly limited the audience of the site, but still Charter-97 remains one of the leaders of the Belarusian Internet among news sites.
Meanwhile, the newspaper Nasha Niva once again published its rating of the Belarusian Internet information resources’ website traffic for March 2018 on the basis of the Similarweb.com portal data.
Nasha Niva blatantly does not want to rate Charter-97 a Belarusian site on the grounds that it allegedly does not have an editorial office in Belarus. But it seems to us that Nasha Niva does this, because the number of views it has is half as much as that of Charter 97, even after it has been blocked (9.12 million versus 19.64 million).
