Another mural with Belarusian flair has appeared in Brest.
The poem "Sonnet" by the Belarusian classic Maksim Bahdanovich is quoted on the building at 9 Mayakovsky Street, racyja.com reports.
The idea is implemented as part of a local project with the support of the regional development agency "Dzedzich".
It was not possible to catch the performer of the mural, so Brest citizens share their impressions:
- This is a great initiative. Each street needs such things, and the more the better. For people to know a little bit who these people are. Therefore - well done, chic, wish them all the best!
- In the Belarusian language?
- Better in Belarusian.
- It seems to me that it is really very interesting and nice that such art exists now.
This is not the first such project by the Dzedzich agency. Three years ago, with their support, there were created murals with the images of Maksim Bahdanovich in Mayakovsky and Yanka Kupala streets. As a result of repair works Bahdanovich didn't exist long, but Kupala can be seen nowadays.
