Polish Defense Ministry: Belarusian Military Threatened to Open Fire on Polish Soldiers

Another provocation took place on the Belarusian-Polish border: the Belarusian military threatened to open fire on the Polish border guards.

“Yesterday, there was another provocation against Polish soldiers serving at the border. The servicemen found a group of 250 migrants near the fence. The Belarusian military guarding them threatened to open fire on our soldiers,” the Polish Defense Ministry said on Twitter.

According to the Polish Ministry of Defense, the actions of the Belarusian servicemen looked like an attempt to escalate the situation and cover-up.
