Latvia Expels All Lukashenka's Diplomats

Riga responded to the actions of the Lukashenka regime.

Latvia will expel all Belarusian diplomats. According to Reuters, this was announced by an official representative of the Latvian Foreign Ministry.

Today the head of Lukashenka’s Foreign Ministry, Uladzimir Makei,announced the expulsion of the Latvian ambassador and all the embassy staff, except for one, from the country.

In response to the actions of Belarus, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Latvia summoned the temporary plenipotentiary representative of Belarus "to inform about similar actions - the expulsion of all Belarusian diplomats until the normalization of relations."

Earlier, the Latvian airline airBaltic refused to fly over Belarus.

Today the mayor of Riga has also removed Lukashenka's flag and replaced it with a white-red-white one.
