The chief pilot had no choice but to turn the plane back to Minsk.

Executive Director of the Irish airline Ryanair Michael O'Leary called untrue and inaccurate the transcript of the talks held by the pilot of the airliner, which was hijacked by the Belarusian authorities, with air traffic controllers, provided by the Ministry of Transport of Belarus.

As Reuters reported on Friday, the head of Ryanair expressed this opinion in a letter to Minister of Transport of Belarus Aliaksei Auramenka on May 26.

"The chief pilot had no choice but to turn the plane to Minsk, which he was advised to do by Minsk air traffic control, reporting that there was a threat [of finding] an explosive device on board.

The Minsk airport control service refused to contact Ryanair, falsely stating that the company did not answer the phone," - O'Leary noted in his letter.
