Nine Propagandists Disappear In Russia At Once: Simonyan Panics

The editor-in-chief of RT is sure that they will make a “bargaining chip” out of her.

An internal war begins in the Russian Federation: Roskomnadzor and the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation are checking several “military correspondents” who allowed themselves to criticize the leadership of the Ministry of Defense.

At the same time, 9 Russian “military correspondents" and pro-Russian projects related to the war in Ukraine risk getting a real prison term for discrediting the RF Armed Forces, writes dialog.ua.

Igor Strelkov, Semyon Pegov, Yuri Podolyaka, Vladlen Tatarsky, Sergey Mardan, Igor Dimitriev, the authors of GreyZone, Rybar and Kristina Potupchik, apparently, attracted the attention of the security forces of the Russian Federation.

In the past few days, they have either disappeared from the internet, or stopped publishing news from the front. According to unconfirmed reports, some z-patriots were visited by the police. According to the Mash TG channel, the statement to Roskomnadzor demanding to check the propagandists was personally signed by the Chief of the General Staff.

On the part of the Prosecutor General's Office, the case is being handled by the head of the department for supervision over the execution of the law on federal security, terrorism, extremism and interethnic relations. The reason was the open criticism of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and its decisions during the war against Ukraine.

“How long the check will last is still unknown. But if the corpus delicti is collected, and the guilt is established, the military correspondents will either get off with a fine, or receive up to three years in prison,” they say in the Russian Federation.

Another propaganda channel, citing Margarita Simonyan, writes that “someone is preparing criminal cases against patriotic military correspondents.”

However, the editor-in-chief of RT is sure that her colleagues in inciting hatred towards Ukraine will remain at large. She is afraid of becoming the next target of the power structures of the Russian Federation, which, if necessary, will make her a “bargaining chip”.

However, Kadyrov and Prigozhin, who not only criticized Shoigu and his subordinates for failures in the war, still remain untouchable in the Russian Federation, and even count on preferences from the Kremlin. Earlier, Strelkov said that the Russian MoD would soon dismiss Sergei Shoigu.

In his opinion, the Kremlin will blame him for all the failures in the war with Ukraine. Girkin is also sure that Russia itself is in a fever because of the defeats in Ukraine. Perhaps in the near future the “elites” will start fighting for a place in the Russian power apparatus.
