The father of the activist told the details.
Political prisoner Mikalai Dziadok is under pressure in the colony where he is serving his sentence. Mikalai's father, Aliaksandr Dziadok, told journalists of the Novy Chas publication about it.
According to him, a lawyer met with Mikalai the other day. Mikalai arrived at the colony on February 12, and, according to his father, "they immediately tried to give him a so-called low-status job" - they tried to charge him with cleaning certain places. Dziadok refused.
“He immediately received 7 days in a punishment isolation cell, the deprivation of long-term visits and a reduction of purchases to a maximum of two base units (64 BYR),” says the father of the political prisoner. In addition, letters from people who are not his relatives do not reach Mikalai.
At the same time, he feels normal, there is fresh air. In addition, the food is better than in the Mogilev prison. According to his father, Mikalai is cheerful.
“He understands perfectly well - that's to be expected. Although, to be honest, he expected that there would be a fairly calm environment. But, apparently, there is an order to put pressure on him," Aliaksandr Dziadok suggested.
Recall that 33-year-old blogger and anarchist Mikalai Dziadok was detained in November 2020. He was severely beaten when he was arrested. The political prisoner was sentenced to five years in a penal colony a year later, in November 2021. Mikalai pleaded not guilty on all counts. Human rights activists recognized him as a political prisoner.
